A stellar line-up of stallholders has already secured their places, but there is still space for more producers at this year’s much-anticipated Perthshire On A Plate (POAP) food and drink festival at the Perth Show.
Taking place on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd August 2025 on the South Inch, this celebration of local food and drink is run by Perthshire Chamber of Commerce and supported by UHI Perth who run the Cookery Demo Theatre and Binn Group. The event offers producers a fantastic opportunity to showcase and sell their products, while also providing a stage for local chefs to demonstrate their culinary skills and for exciting local companies to serve up delicious taster dishes in the covered pop-up dining area.
POAP has built a strong reputation for bringing together the region’s best chefs and producers, with packed-out cookery demonstrations and tastings that delight thousands of visitors each year. From seasoned POAP favourites like, to new local talents and special guests, the festival’s Cookery Theatre promises a lively programme of back-to-back demos that celebrate the creativity and versatility of Perthshire’s produce.
Excitingly, this year’s line-up is already taking shape, with POAP organiser and Perthshire Chamber Chief Executive Vicki Unite sharing that stands are selling well, and plans are progressing swiftly:
