Producing Genuine Homemade Perthshire Scottish Tablet, Fudge and Gourmet Perthshire Mallows, Multi award winning having won 4 Separate Great Taste awards. The First Confectionery business to produce the Scottish Tablet Teacake, and Dubai Style Tablet Bar. All produced locally and with help from my family we are already a second generation business, lead by myself. I use Local produce including Perthshire Honeyberries and Raspberries, along with Loch Ness Honey to produce my Loch Ness Honey Tablet and Honey Mallows, an amazing Highland Heather Honey. The Launch of my “Milse Nan Tonn” (Sweetness of the Waves”) Hebridean Seaweed Tablet is another first, brining a whole new taste dimension to Scottish Tablet, whilst maintaining the smooth Melt in the Mouth Homemade Scottish Tablet that I have become identified for.

In the lead-up to the show, the UHI Perth team worked tirelessly to support our preparations, rallying an exceptional group of hospitality students during their summer holidays to ensure the cookery theatre was fully equipped and ready to welcome our celebrity chef and guest demonstrators.

From the earliest planning stages to the final flourish, UHI Perth (headed up by Ype Van Der Schaaf, Neil Mugg and Shirley Simpson), has been an essential part of the POAP story from day one (2010!):
🍽️ They helped set the stage (literally!) in the Cookery Theatre
👩🍳 Recruited and supported a team of superstar students who gave up their summer holidays to join the event
🥂 Prepped for the celebrity chef and plated beautiful sample dishes after every demo
🍬 Hand-crafted sweet treats including shortbread and tablet, shared across the weekend
